The car as driven by Jimmie Johnson at the 2023 Daytona 500 event.
Johnson purchased an ownership stake in Petty GMS Motorsports and rebranded the team to Legacy Motor Club. He qualified the fastest for the non-chartered teams but did not finish the race due to a overtime crash.
Johnson would race in Cota and Coca Cola 600 but unfortunately the results were also below expectation.
The team would hope that Johnson can return to his legendary form which brought him all his titles.
The car is designed so a complete minifig can fit by temporarily removing windscreen and the roof tiles. It is also designed to match the speed champions 2020 scale as closely as possible.
