- The car was designed by Aldo Costa, Nikolas Tombazis, Marco de Luca and Luca Marmorini. The car claimed 5 wins, 15 podiums, 2 pole position and 5 fastest laps as the team claimed 3rd in the constructor’s title.
- Alonso nearly missed out on the driver’s champions when he only needed to finish 2nd to win it but due to a bad strategy call he had to fight through the field. Unfortunately Alonso was unable to pass Petrov as his engine was reduced on horsepower as it had been used for a few races.
- The car is designed so a complete minifig can fit by temporarily removing the tiles on the side of the cockpit. It is also designed to match the speed champions 2020 scale as closely as possible.
